10.05 to 10.50 Paul Leonard Was the strategic and tactical advisor to the force cadre of Senior Investigating Officers and has been involved in over 170 homicide investigations. He has experience in dealing with over 140 kidnap allegations. He will speak about The disappearance and murder of an eminent Sheffield doctor who was having an affair with a nurse .
11.00 to 11.45 Tristan Clarke personal tragedy led to me swapping the chemistry classroom for the crazy world of drugs. Realising my mistake, I got ‘out’ but my past caught up with me. A twelve year sentence later and I have turned my life around, swapping prison for personal training and sports massage therapy.”

2.35 to 3.20 Mike Jones an eminent Forensic Fire Expert. He will speak about “Murder by carpet" An eight year old boy was badly injured by a fire in his bedroom in May 2005. He spent his ninth birthday in intensive care and died a month later. This case study discusses a missing link into the pattern of fire development which made it difficult to identify the point of ignition and the jury was unable to reach a verdict. But it didn't end there !
3.30 to 4.15 Steve Whittaker is a renowned SIO and has vast experience in dealing with serious and complex investigations. He will speak about an OCG murder that resulted in three men being jailed for life after shooting dead a 23-year-old as he sat in his car. He will then explain how he caught and convicted a mother and son who murdered a runner in a dispute over the use of a footpath.
4.25 to 5.10 You The Jury Member. You will hear a real life court case where the names and dates have been changed but the circumstances are true. You will be part of the jury, nominating a foreman and delivering your verdict. Will you convict an innocent person or let the guilty walk free.
